Connie S. Pouw, 58, of New Albany, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. She was a former employee of Air Guard Industries and truly enjoyed the time she spend with her family.

Connie was born on July 16, 1953 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Peter Pouw and Ola (Edmondson) Diaz. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, James and Michael Pouw.

She is survived by her children, David Pouw (Hollie), ShaLonda Midkiff; siblings, Kathy Embry (Terry), & Rebecca Brown (Mitch); 5 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and from 9 to 11 AM on Friday. Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
