Cody Lee Fraze

Cody Lee Fraze, 26, of Taswell, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident on Thursday morning, June 16, 2022. He had served as a truck driver for Mr. P and was currently an employee of Menke. Cody enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, as well as going for rides on his motorcycle. He had a great sense of humor and loved making others laugh through his TicTok videos. Cody had a heart of gold, was selfless, and always there for others.

He was born on December 12, 1995, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather, Denver Fraze.

Cody is survived by his parents, Mary Ann Kirchgessner (Matt) and Wendell Fraze (Lisa); grandparents, Brenda Hunter, Randy Hunter, and Nadine Fraze; sister, Brookelin Fraze; aunts and uncles, Sandy, April, David, Shelia, Russell, Gail, Donald, Lynn, Sharon, Bobby, and Debbie; girlfriend, Kirsten Tuell; stepdaughter, Nezzie Grubb; and his beloved dog and traveling sidekick, Daisy.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 9:00 a.m. A celebration of Cody's life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
