Clara O'Neil

Clara "Cissy" O'Neil, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022. Clara enjoyed going to the Casino and having a good time. She loved her grandson Garrett, and her family. Clara was a loving and devoted individual who would do anything for someone in need. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was born on August 11, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her Father, William "Billy" Basil, Mother, Roseann Wheat, and Brothers, Basil Basil, and Donald Gregory.

Clara is survived by her Daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Giffen, Grandchildren, Garrett Vice, Jackson Giffen, Aubrey Giffen, Payton Giffen and Chloe Vice, Great-Grandson, Braxton Giffen, Brothers, Denton (Lisa) Basil, Edward (Kathy) Clifford, and Sister, Candy Basil. Clara also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery - Louisville.
