Cindy Schroerlucke, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
She was born on February 2, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to David and Helen (Greenwell) Jones. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Linda Green and her brother David jones, Jr.
Cindy will always be remembered for being an amazing wife, mother, grandmother "Gamma" and sister; her family was her whole world. She was compassionate and caring to all, she never met a stranger. Cindy enjoyed spending time in her garden, tending to her flowers and playing with her grand babies. Cindy lit up a room when she came in, with her fun loving personality and one of a kind laugh that could be heard for miles ! She always took the time to listen and give advice. Cindy will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Dennis "Scooter" Schroerlucke, sharing 48 years of life together, children, Daniel (Whittney) Schroerlucke, Darren Schroerlucke, Stephanie (Jason) Disney, grandchildren, Devin Schroerlucke, Lydia Schroerlucke, Annora Schroerlucke, Dutch Schroerlucke, Nathan Disney and Rachel Disney, sisters, Donna Prater and Karen (Jim) Bell, seven nieces and ten nephews, very special friends and extended family, the Wright's (Mark and Tara), the Bryan's (Eric and Rachel), the Chism's (Michelle and Elliott).
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 29, 2022 and 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A service celebrating her life will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home.
