Christopher Ward Yeager

Christopher Ward Yeager, 69, of Henryville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022. He had a long career as an electrician and was an avid NASCAR fan. Chris enjoyed working on classic cars and go-cart racing and loved watching his favorite TV show, Street Outlaws.
He was born on January 4, 1953, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Maurice and Mary (Ward) Yeager. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sondra (Lenz) Yeager; children, Robin Yeager (Eric Leuthart) and Keith Yeager (Elissa); grandsons of whom he was extremely proud, Reece Yeager, Renner Yeager, and Radley Leuthart; brothers, Steve Yeager (Robbie) and Tom Yeager (Janet); and nephew, Scott Yeager.
Chris's wish was to be cremated and a reception of family and friends will be from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
