Christopher James Harris

Christopher James Harris, 46, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Christopher was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. He had a heart of gold and loved to put a smile on everyone's face with is sense of humor. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed racing RC cars. A gentle giant, he had a special place in his heart for his nieces who love their Uncle Bubba. He loved all of the pups in his life, and had special names for each of them. Christopher will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on September 19, 1977 in Louisville, Kentucky to Samuel and Debra (Alexander) Harris. He is preceded in death by his Pap, Raymond Alexander: Mamaw, Jewel Stewart; and uncle, Leo Cissell.

Christopher is survived by his loving family, mother, Debra Harris; father, Samuel Harris; siblings, Radeana Harris, Rhonda (Richard) Yardley, Roger Harris, Robin Harris, Scott Harris; nieces, Cherish Harris, Alexandra Harris; aunt, Sue (Ernie) Ernspiker; uncle, Steve Alexander; aunt, Judy Cissell; uncle, Jerry (Carla) Alexander; uncle, David (Donna) Alexander; aunt, Kim (Joe) Ray; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 7, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of his life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
