Christopher Michael Goffinet

Christopher Michael Goffinet, 37, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. He was born on April 22, 1985, in Louisville, Kentucky. Chris was a 2003 graduate of Trinity High School, and this is where he first became an entrepreneur with his tech company, DreamX. After school, Chris moved to Arizona and then California to pursue his passions in the tech world, working for companies like Yahoo, Digg, and Twitter. Chris was brilliant when it came to technology. He was a software and app creator with several software patents. He moved back to the Louisville area in 2016 to run his tech company, ThreeComma.

Chris is survived by his father, Michael (Liza) Goffinet; mother, Robin Sims (Rob Knoerr); grandparents, Mary Agnes Goffinet and John and Joyce Sims; brother, Benjamin Goffinet; sister, Gwen Galeza; sister, Mae (Nick) Durbin; aunts and uncles, Rex (Sandy) Sims, JR (Tami) Sims, Carl Book, Steve (Janis) Goffinet, Mag (David) Young, and Marsha (Steve) Esarey; and several cousins and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his aunt, Rita Book.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following Chris's wishes.
