Christine M. (Floden) Huffman, 67, passed away on January 6, 2013. She worked at Korner Kitchen for over 25 years serving her community. Christine loved to play bingo and enjoyed cooking and canning vegetables. She was very close with her entire family, playing the role of big sister, and will be deeply missed.
She was born on September 5, 1945 in Cambridge, England to the late August C. and Kathleen A. (Coxall) Floden. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry W. Huffman.
Christine is survived by her children, Dennis Floden and his wife, Sigrid, Robin Gilbert, Rhonda Raney; 9 siblings; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her four legged companion, Mickey.
Cremation was chosen following Christine's wishes. A Memorial Gathering will take place at 1:30 PM on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the American Legion Post 332 (108 Legion Way, Milltown, IN 47145).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association (161 St. Matthews Ave., Suite 3, Louisville, KY 40207).
