Christina Reneea (White) Martin, 47, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer. She loved working as a social worker at Salem Crossing and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Family and friends meant everything to Christina.
She was born on October 13, 1972, in Waverly, Missouri, to Jenny (Findlay) and the late John White. Christina was also preceded in death by her grandmother, Florence Burnham.
Along with her mother, Christina is survived by her husband of 13 years, Joshua Martin; daughters, Andrea Hammond (Tanner) and Kylie Martin; sisters, Jessica Cable, Anita Davis, and Jennifer Caine (Ashanti); grandfather, Paul Burnham; aunts, Linda, Kathy, and Norma; nieces and nephews, Kristin, Austin, Kaleb, and Sara; great-nieces, Scarlett, Brailynne, and Emberleigh; and numerous cousins and extended family members in the St. Louis and Lake of the Ozarks areas.
Cremation was chosen following Christina's wishes. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society (1640 Lyndon Farm Court, Suite 104, Louisville, KY 40223).
