Christina Maria Francesca Grimes

Christina Maria Francesca "Tina" Grimes, age 75, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Born in Hemau, Germany, she moved to the US in 1962. She loved her German Shepherds, loved fishing, music and was a friend to everyone. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Grimes; her father, Bruno Karl Hanft; and her grandson, Patrick.

Tina is survived by her loving children, Yvonne Langbein (Joachim), Juliet Keith (Robert), Michelle O'Brien (John Hillberry) and Michael Grimes (Karie); mother, Franziska Maria Ulmer Hanft; grandchildren, Joshua, Samuel, Amanda, Jacob, Gavin, Jasmine, Florian and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Alayna, Elias and Sophia; sisters, Sylvia, Lucia and Geno; brother, Harold; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 2-6pm Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. A celebration of Tina's life will be 11am Monday, November 6th with burial to follow in Chenoweth Run Cemetery.
