Christie Lester, 49, of Pewee Valley, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023.
She was born on August 24, 1974 in Pewee Valley, Kentucky to Gary McAtee and Karen (Durham) Lester. She is preceded in death by her mother, Karen Lester, grandparents, William and Tillie Durham and Mary and Lee McAtee.
Christie is survived by her loving children, Sierra Lester, Sydney Lester, Malachi Lester, father, Gerry McAtee (Rose), sister Chantel McAtee, aunts, Alisa Braggs, Marcia Wright (Kevin), Linda Wilson (Charles), Deborah "Kaye" McAtee (Osekre), Tima Scott (Marvin), Damita Dickerson (Alex), uncles, John Durham, Steven McAtee (Sharon) and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Pewee Valley, (7102 Floydsburg Road, Pewee Valley, KY 40056) with burial to follow at Pewee Valley Cemetery East.
The family requests that contributions in Christie's memory be made to The American Cancer Society.
