Christian David Box

Christian David Box, age 23, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025. He was a cherished son, brother, grandson, and friend who brought joy and laughter to those fortunate enough to know him. Christian found immense joy in playing video games and had a true passion for the guitar. His enthusiasm for cars and the time spent with his family were hallmarks of his vibrant personality. Christian will be profoundly missed by all who loved him.

Born on November 19, 2001, in Owensboro, Kentucky, Christian was preceded in death by his beloved grandmothers, Sue Box and Patsy Weihe.

He is lovingly remembered by his family, including his parents, David (Tracy) Box and Renee (Frank) Hoppes; his step-brothers, Brandon (Tonya) Cox, Brock (Amanda) Cox, Derrick (Sarah) Cox; his step-sisters, Shelby (James) Kenney and Christina (Brandon) Pyle; and his grandfather, Clyde Box. He leaves behind a large extended family and many friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, located at 10304 Dixie Highway, Southwest Louisville Chapel. A celebration of Christian’s life will follow at 1:00 p.m. on the same day at the chapel.

In honor of Christian's memory, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
