Christen Nicole Smith, 42, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023.
Christen is survived by her fiancee', David Monti; her daughters, Kayla and Leia Monti; her parents, Mark and Debbie Smith; her sister, Candice Smith; her brother, Chad Smith; her grandmother, Marilyn Triplett Sigman; and her brothers-in-law Antonio, Vinny, and Buzz.
Christen was such a hard worker and very goal oriented. After the girls were born she wanted to be able to care for them by having a good career. She enrolled in Nursing School, graduated, and worked in the ICU for 10 years. She gained the love and respect of her peers and her patients. She showed her love and compassion to all who were blessed to know her.
Christen's favorite things included music, dancing, painting and spending time with family and friends.
Christen's legacy will carry on through all those who knew and loved her, but especially through the girls. She poured every bit of love she had into the girls. In them we will see the spirit of her, in their eyes.
