Cheryl "Cherie" Manion

Cheryl "Cherie" Manion, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024. Cheryl loved life to the fullest. Cheryl loved a good party, was always there for her friends & family, and never hesitated to speak her mind. She loved her dogs & cats and was an avid baker/cook. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. 

She was born on November 26, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to Frank and Katie (Williams) Delph. She is preceded in death by her Father, Frank Delph Jr., Mother, Katie Delph, Husband, Nathan Manion, Son, Aaron Manion, Siblings, Debbie Young, Billy Delph, and Frank Delph, III.

Cheryl is survived by her loving family, Children, Mark (Dana) Manion, Tracy (Larry) Chumbley, and Keith Manion; Grandchildren, Brett Manion, Chelsee Manion, Kaitlin Chumbley, Aaron Manion, Jr., Jazlynn Pettyjohn, Mark Manion, Jr., and Aiden Manion; Great-Grandson, Nathan Manion; Siblings, Susan I. Delph, David (Karen) Delph, and Gloria Delph, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 5:30 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that any contributions in Cheryl’s memory be made to the funeral home to assist with her funeral services.
