Chelsey Lynn Sherrell

Chelsey Lynn Sherrell, 30, of Otisco, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. She loved fishing with her son, Brayden, and there wasn't a minute in the day that she did not think of him. Chelsey had a heart of gold. She would go out of her way to help others. You couldn't have a bad day when you were around Chelsey because she was always doing something silly to make you laugh.

She was born on November 16, 1993 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her father, Justin Sherrell; grandmother, Sue Murphy, and grandfather, Leslie "Buck" Sherrell.

Chelsey is survived by her son, Brayden Coomer; mother, Shannon Lyons; sisters, Morgan Sherrell, Hannah Campbell, and Brianna Campbell; grandmother, Kathie Theiss; aunts, Lea Lewis (Tom) and Trisha Ramos; uncle, Charlie Lyons; step-father, Bradley Campbell; and niece, Annabelle Begley.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:30 pm on Friday, at funeral home.
