Charlotte Willoughby, 69, of Fairdale, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023.
She was born on February 25, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to George and Corinne (Meeks) Anderson . She is preceded in death by her father.
Charlotte was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She retired as a Bank Teller after 30 plus years, she and her husband are long time members of Kenwood Heights Christian Church; they were married in 1976 at the old Kenwood Heights. Charlotte loved traveling, cruises, and going to Nolin Lake. What she enjoyed most of all was spending time with her family; especially her grandkids and spending time with her church family. In her free time she could be found scrapbooking and card making with the women at Okolona Woman's Club.
Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Glenn Willoughby, mother, Corinne Anderson, son, Jonathan (Kim) Willoughby, daughter, Laura (Kevin) Willoughby, grandchildren , Talia, Logan, Laurel and Luke, her brothers, Mike (Karen) Anderson and Calvin Anderson, along with numerous cousins, nephews and nieces who will all miss her very much.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Wednesday, October 4th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home, she will be laid to rest privately at evergreen Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Charlotte 's memory be made to Kenwood Heights Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.
