Charlotte Miller

Charlotte P. (Willian) Miller, 81, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, of New Albany passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2011. Charlotte was a member of the American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post 28 and lifetime member of VFW Hobart Beach Post 3281 Auxiliaries.

Charlotte was born on September 28, 1929 in Bradford, Indiana to the late Harry and Georgia (Martin) Willian. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Mayola Evans and Norma Jean Miller.

She is survived by her husband, James L. Miller; son, H. Kevin Miller (Erin) of Floyds Knobs; grandchildren, Chance, Lily, and Riley Miller.

Visitation will be from 4to 8 PM on Friday, April 8, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be 10 AM on Saturday, April 9, 2011 in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr. Memorial Chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus – the Hospice Community of Southern Indiana or the Kosair Children's Hospital.
