Charlotte E. Lindsey Henderson

Charlotte "Char" E. Lindsey Henderson, 58, of Memphis, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 10:53 am on Monday, November 27, 2023 at her home with her family by her side.

Charlotte was born in Amarillo, Texas and was a graduate of Henryville High School in Henryville, Indiana.

She had a passion for flowers and possessed a green thumb that could grow most anything. Her heart for animals (dogs, cats, birds, deer) made her so special to those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon Henderson; grandson, Gavin Michael Henderson; and father, John T. Lindsey.

Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Ashlie Henderson-Combs (Victor) and Michaelyn Henderson (Rocky); five grandchildren, Abigail Henderson, Brayden Hunt, Noah, Maddilyn, and R.J. Levan; her long-time partner, Mackie Couch; her mother and step-father, Sally and Michael Halas; brothers, Stephen Lindsey and Michael Lindsey (Lisa); and nephews, Nicolas Lindsey and Patrick Wheat-Lindsey.

A private graveside service will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Utica, Indiana.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Diabetes Association or National Kidney Foundation in her memory.
