Charlie Zeller, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020. Charlie was committed to his family, Catholic Faith, and Food for The Poor. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Parish and its Friendship Club, and his Monday Night Card Group.
He was born on November 1, 1930 in Louisville, Kentucky to Orville and Mary (Steltenpohl) Zeller. He is preceded in death by his beloved Wife of 60 years, Ida Zeller, Parents, Orville & Mary Zeller, a Brother, and Five Sisters.
Charlie is survived by his, Daughter, Judy (Mark) McMillen, Son, Fred (Maggie) Zeller, Son, Chuck Zeller, Son, Marty Zeller, Daughter, Theresa (Chuck) Fleischer, Daughter, Patty (Curtiss) Teague, and Daughter, Monica (David) Tezak. Charlie also leaves behind to cherish his memory 12 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Newcomer, Cremations, Funerals and Receptions Southwest Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (5431 Johnsontown Road, Louisville, KY 40272). July 9th has a special significance to the family as it would have been Charlie & Ida's 65th wedding anniversary.
