Charles Bryan Recobs passed from this life into Gods loving Arms on February 23, 2024, at 36 years old. He was born March 9, 1987 in Chillicothe, Ohio.
Charlie Served 11 years in the United States Navy as a logistics Specialist rank E-6. Charlie was medically discharged and then continued his journey into the IBEW local 369. Charlie had a witty personality, loved everyone, and in return everyone loved him.
Charlie was a man of many roles: a devoted son, and a loving brother, and a friend to many. His life was a testament to the values of love, loyalty, family, and friend. Charlie enjoyed sports, music, socializing, the beach, and his animals. Charlie was compassionate; captivating, affable and gregarious. He had a wonderful, playful sense of humor. He was intellectual and kind, always looked to the brighter side of life. He was a sympathetic, thoughtful, and a loving soul.
Charlie was predeceased by grandfather Roger Conn, grandmother Barbara Brown and grandfather Jim Recobs. He is survived by his father, Charles Recobs of Radcliff KY, mother, Jada Yocum, dad, David Yocum, of Louisville KY, grandmother, Dianna Recobs, grandfather, Earl Yocum, grandmother, Rosie Yocum, and grandmother, Diana Conn. His sister's Cheryl (Gary) Staub, Chayna Yocum, & brother, Chase Yocum, niece Madalyn Staub, nephew Gage Staub, and his niece, Sadie Risinger.
Charlie was a very special person to a lot of people and has left a lot of memories. His family wants everyone to remember his warm smile, big heart, his contagious laughter, and his loving arms that welcomed everyone.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 4th at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Hwy). A service honoring Charlie will take place at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, March 5th at the funeral home. After the service Charlie will be laid to rest with military honors at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
Charlie's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
