Charles Edward "Ed" Wilson, 88, of Louisville , Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018. Charles was retired from H.J. Scherich Company. He was a Deacon at Unity Missionary Baptist Church. He was a Army veteran of the Korean War.

Ed was born on November 13, 1930 in Cub Run, Kentucky to Leonard and Mary Wilson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wife of 43 years, Anna Wilson, Sister, Mary V Lush, Brother, Leon Wilson.

Ed is survived by his son Brad (Tammie) Wilson, and Daughter, Dottie Gentry, Brothers and Sisters, Elzora Roe, E.E. Wilson, Oral Wilson, Barbara Priddy, Zelma Jaggers, and Lavone Howard, Grandchildren, Chris Wilson, Laura Stear (Jonathan), Jonathan Gentry, and Curtis Wilson, Great Grandchildren, Emily Wilson, Conor Wilson, Joseph Stear, and Anna Stear, and also many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at Unity Missionary Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
