Charles William Reed, Jr.

Mr. Charles William Reed, Jr., age 84 of Louisville, passed away Monday, June 22, 2009 at Baptist Hospital East. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles William Reed, Sr. and Christine. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Best-Reed; his sons, Melvin C. Reed, Gerrelle Brooks, Jon Jon Jones, Jeffery Jones, Jesse Brown, Derrick Brown, Winifred Brown and Charles Jones.; his daughters, Charlesetta Spaulding, Brenda Reed-Anderson, Sylvia Clayton, Sherylene Reed, Janet Branscomb and Diane Garvin and Tanya Brooks. Also surviving are 22 Grandchildren and 47 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services 11:30AM Monday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses/St.Matthews Congregation with interment to follow at the New Albany National Cemetery, New Albany, Indiana. Visitation noon to 6PM Sunday June 28th at the funeral home and Monday after 9:30AM at the Hall.
