Charles L. Trusty

Charles L. Trusty, age 91 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023. Charles was born on February 20, 1932. He grew up in Taswell, Winslow and Huntingburg, IN and spent the rest of his life in Louisville, KY. Charles began working on the L&N railroad, served in the Army during the Korean War, and finished working for WAVE TV for 30 years.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 67 years, Carolyn Trusty; his children, Charles A. Trusty and Greg Trusty (Mollie); his grandchildren, Zachary Trusty, Madeline Trusty-Nilges (Jesse), Zane Trusty, Leigha Trusty and Claire Trusty; his brother, Lester Trusty; and his sister, Lois Tevault; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 11 to 12pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Duncan Memorial Chapel, 5600 Old Floydsburg Road, Crestwood, KY 40014, with a celebration of Charles' life there at noon. Burial will follow in Floydsburg Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Hosparus of Louisville for the great care they provided Charles at the end of his life.
