Charles Clayton Tomblin

Charles Clayton Tomblin, 35, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Clay was a talented guitar player, who loved music, especially metal and alternative rock.

Clay was born on April 26, 1987, in New Albany, Indiana, to Timothy and Tracy (Tomblin) Hancock. He is preceded in death by his mother, Tracy J. Hancock; grandmother, Helen Hancock; and grandfather, Terry Tomblin.

Clay is survived by his father, Timothy G. Hancock; sisters, Kelli (Chris) Hancock and Amanda Byrne; brother, Timothy M. Hancock; daughter, Molly Tomblin; grandmother, Alice M. Tomblin; grandfather, Jerry Hancock; and numerous extended family members.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Clay's memory be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
