Charles W. Sutton, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. He was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on July 4, 1943 to the late Charles W. and Lucy Sutton. He was retired from General Electric and a member of Incarnation Catholic Church. He loved woodworking and nature.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Grizzle.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Mary Sutton; children, Becky (Keith) Thomas, Theresa (David) Courtney and Sarah (Steven) Henderson; grandchildren, Lauren Thomas, Aaron Thomas, Jessica Masterson, Gryffen Henderson, Madison Henderson, and Alexandria Courtney; siblings, Mary Rose Cutliff, Virginia Lomax, David Sutton and Steven Sutton; and a host of other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Visitation will from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
