Charles Leonard "Charlie" Stockett, 71 passed away on Tuesday February 26, 2013 from complications of Parkinson's Disease while a resident at the Hurstbourne Care Center in Louisville, Ky. Charlie was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 5, 1942 attended Calvert Hall High School and had a long career in sales that included Geipe Moving Company, NyQuest Paints and Caldwell Banker Real Estate. He retired in 2006 and moved to Louisville, Ky in 2011.
Charlie was a founding member of the Townson Racket Club, past member of the Baltimore Ski Club, and The Hunt Valley Golf Club. He also enjoyed gourmet cooking, movies, fine dining, playing cards, pool, trivia, and all sports activities.
Charlie is preceded in death by his mother Teresa Eder Stockett and his father Leonard Stockett, and a sister Rose Stockett. He is survived by a son Keith Watts, and a daughter Susan Watts Bryant, and grandchildren all of Elliott City, Maryland.
A celebration of Charlie's life will be held at The Hunt Valley Golf Club in Phoenix, Maryland on Sunday March 10, 2013 at 3:00 PM. Friends and relatives are invited to join in the celebration.
