Charles Stephen Snyder

Charles Stephen "Steve" Snyder, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Steve was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and being on the lake. He had a strong work ethic and devoted many years to his profession. Steve was a family man and loved spending time making memories with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on May 12, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to Charles and Betty (Kaufman) Snyder. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Roger Snyder; mother, Betty Snyder; and sisters, Regina Goeing and Doreen Harris.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Vanessa Snyder; daughter, Deanna (Matthew) Blake; son, Clayton Snyder; brothers, Roger (Cheryl) Snyder, Chris (Sharon) Snyder, Doug (Loucinda) Snyder; sister, Tracy Snyder; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of his life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
