Charles R. "Charlie" Wild, age 84 of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean conflict, was retired from Fischer Packing Co. and was an avid U.K. Fan.
Mr. Wild is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Doris "Sis" Wild; children, Deborah Mann (Tom), Chuck Wild (Tammy), Elaine Fawbush (Tony) and Mark Wild (Carolyn); sister, Margaret Brock; brother, Sonny Wild. He was "Papa" to 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral ceremony will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
