Charles Plantz

June 9, 1944 — January 23, 2013

Charles "Chuck" Plantz passed away on January 23, 2013 at his home in Corydon, In., surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of the American Legion, a disabled veteran of The United States Army and a member of the United Methodist Church of Elizabeth. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his grandchildren and his beloved dog (Cubby).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Bill Franks of Michigan. He is survived by his wife Janet, daughters; Jalinda(David)Nalley, Carla Grieves, Missy(Jamie)Schilmiller and six grandchildren; Keifer, Chuck and Maggie, Liz, Chelsea, Blaine and Logan.

Visitation will be Sunday January 27, 2013 from 1:00PM to 6:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home 3309 Ballard Lane New Albany,In 47150. Service will be Monday January 28, 2013 at 11:00AM with visitation starting at 9:30AM. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth,In.
