Charles R. "Bobby" Nichols, 54, of New Albany passed away on May 16, 2012. A man with a great sense of humor, Bobby enjoyed woodworking and fishing with family and friends.
He was born on November 5, 1957 in New Albany to Mary Jane (Martin) Nichols and the late Charlie C. Nichols. He is also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Buster Douglas.
In addition to his mother, Bobby is survived by his daughters, Marsha and Bobbie Ann Nichols; brothers and sisters, Jerry Nichols (Janet), Shirley Paschal (Jesse), Carolyn Nichols-Douglas, Jenny Nichols-Zettwoch, Valarie Nichols-Proffitt (Ronnie), and Danny Nichols (Cheryl); and six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His Visitation will be 12 to 6 PM Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 12 PM on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana.
