Charles Matthew Morrisey

Charles Matthew Morrisey (Matt), passed away unexpectedly late Monday night at the age of 32. He was the only son of Stewart Edward Morrisey and Karen Louise Tharpe. Matthew was the beloved only brother to Jessica Morrisey Pinnick (Vincent); Angela Morrisey and Victoria Tharpe. Matt leaves behind a 2 year old son, Elijah Floyd Morrisey and a step-son Wesley Workman. He is also survived by his grandmother Wanda Strong, nephew Dalton Roberts and step-father Dennis Tharpe.

Matt was employed by Crenshaw & Sons as a heavy equipment operator and driver. He was a talented musician and could pick up a variety of instruments and play by ear. He was an intelligent beautiful soul with a big heart. Words can not begin to express how deeply he will be missed. A celebration of Matthew's life will be held Friday May 10th at Newcomer Funeral Home on Juneau Drive, from 3-7 pm. A memorial service will follow promptly at 7 PM.
