Charles Locke

September 5, 1932 — October 11, 2012

Charles Harlan Locke Sr., 80, passed away on October 11, 2012 at Norton's Hospital after a brief illness. Charlie was born September 5, 1932 in New Richmond, Indiana. He graduated from Flaget High School. He served in the United States Airforce 4004th Airbase Squadron Matagorda Island, Tx. He retired from Mid America Auto Auction and was a 30 year retired RailRoader for L&N and CSX. He loved sports and especially Notre Dame. He enjoyed playing golf and vacationing at Sanibel Island, Fla. He was a Devout Catholic, long time parishoner of the former St. Clements parish. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann Hall. He is survived by his five children; Sandy Hall(Gary), Jennifer Fulkerson(Jim), Judeth Stewart, JoAnn Davis(Mount), Charles Harlan Locke Jr. 10 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren. Charlie's children would like to thank all of the wonderful caregivers and staff at TwinBrook Nursing Home who took such great care of our father. Private family ceremony at Newcomer Funeral Home, no visitation. Internment at Louisville Memorial Gardens on Friday October 19, 2012
