Charles Leonard Lehman

Charles Leonard Lehman, Sr., 91, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023.
He was born on June 25, 1931, in Tell City, Indiana, to the late Leonard Lehman and Cora (Edwards) Lehman. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lehman; son-in-law, Jim Lyninger; brother, Leroy Lehman; and sister, Wanda Arnold.
Chuck is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, serving from April 1949 to August 1950. Chuck retired from Kincheloe Radio Service, Louisville, Kentucky, after 31 years of service. Chuck was also a lifetime member of Valley View Golf Club.
Chuck is survived by his children, Linda Lyninger, Charles Lehman, Jr. (Joy), Jeff Lehman (Rose), Scott Lehman, and Bob Lehman (Tom Felkner); 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
