Charles Dennis Hite

Charles Dennis "Chuck" Hite, 77, passed away on March 3, 2022. He played football and baseball at Valley High School and graduated in 1962. Chuck served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War as an airplane mechanic. He was a member of Ironworkers, Local 70 for 30 plus years and a 32nd degree Mason. Chuck was one of the original founders of Pleasure Valley Bass Club; he was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer, bowler and enjoyed woodworking. His humor and time spent with family and friends would always put a smile on his face and those around him. Chuck will be truly missed and will forever live in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Homer and Jenny Zorado Hite and sister, Sandra Payton.

Chuck leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Joyce Hite; children, Shilla (Craig) Domanik, Richard Hite and Selena (Don) Kruer; grandchildren, Gage, Donnie (Todd), Nick, Taner, Savana, Landon and Ella; sister, Kitty (Bob) Barton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, March 11, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 10am-1pm with a celebration of Chuck's life beginning at 1pm.

Chuck will be laid to rest at Bethany Cemetery, 10915 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
