Charles Lee Hawkins

Charles Lee Hawkins, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Charles was a loving husband, great dad, awesome grandpa, and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He always loved watching his westerns and going on vacation to the Smokeys with his wife. Charles will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on November 9, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to Charles and Mary (Sharpenstein) Hawkins. He is preceded in death by his Father, Charles Leslie Hawkins, Mother, Mary Francis Hawkins, Sisters, Shirley and Katherine.

Charles is survived by his loving family, Wife of 56 years, Jennifer "Jenny" Hawkins; Son, Steven R. (Marie) Hawkins, Daughter, Sarah L. Hawkins, Granddaughter, Camilla Hawkins, Sisters, Ollie, Bertha, and Rhonda, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy).
