Charles Howard Lenson Jr., 87, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 in Greenville, Indiana.
Charles was born on December 14, 1925 to the late Charles and Estelle Lenson. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Floyds Knobs. He served in the US Navy and retired from International Harvester.
Charles will be missed by his wife, Gertrude Emely Lenson; children, Linda Eaton and Rick Lenson (Theresa); sister, Betty Trower (Milton); granddaughters, Jill Schluder (Derek) and Brittney Mitchell; great granddaughter, Autumn Grant.; great-great grandsons, Nate Schluder and Xavier Grant; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln., New Albany). His Funeral Ceremony will be at 11 AM Friday at First Southern Baptist Church of Floyds Knobs (4631 Lakeview Dr. Greenville, IN ) with burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
