Dodds, Charles Edward,
81, of Louisville, KY passed away peacefully on March 11, 2014. He served during the Korean War in the United States Navy. Charles was a hard worker and loved his family. He was a lifelong UK fan and very active in the American Legion for the Milltown Indiana Post 332.
In addition to his parents, Edward and Mildred Dodds, Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Conn and his granddaughter Jennifer Renfrow.
Survivors include a sister: Joyce Ann Conrad; children: Jim (Beverly) Dodds , Karen Triplett, Michael Dodds (Sherry Johnson), Laura (Curtis) Foley, Carla McIntosh; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Charles's life from 12-6 pm Sunday March 16th, 2014 with service to follow at 6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 10304 Dixie Highway Louisville, KY 40272.
