Charles Detenber
Charles K. "Ken" Detenber, 65, of Jeffersonville passed away on October 12, 2011. Ken retired from Phillip-Morris in 1998. He was born on December 4, 1945 in Louisville to Sterling K. and Doris M. (Gries) Detenber.
In addition to his parents, Ken is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Heeke) Detenber; daughter, Michelle Detenber; son, LT. Nicholas Cornwell (April); brothers, Mike Detenber (Susan) and Steve Detenber (Cathy); sister, Debbie Zangari (Dean); grandchildren, Breanna and Seth Detenber, Cecilia and Sebastian Cornwell; and great grandson, Mason Detenber.
The Memorial Mass will be at 1 PM on Monday, October 17, at St. Augustine Catholic Church (315 East Chestnut Street, Jeffersonville) followed by a comfort meal celebrating his life at the Knights of Columbus JFK Council (225 East Market Street, Jeffersonville) for family and friends.
