Charles Curtis Board

Charles Curtis Board, 66, passed away on October 28, 2013. He was a hard working farmer and provided for his family. He enjoyed gardening and cooking. His good times were family cookouts, a day on the boat, fishing or just sitting at the round table.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Raymond and Elsie Board; his wife Jackie Board; sister, Lillian Rachal Floyd and brother, Larry Board.
He is survived by his daughters, Tonya (Charles) Blakey and Christy (Walter) Smith; son Curtis Board; grandchilden, Chris Farley, Kaycee Fowler, Cory Bailey, Cailyn Board, Mariah Blakey, Jace Blakey and Trae Blakey; great-grandchild, Jazlene Farley; brothers, Donnie Board, Rodney Board and Jerry Board; sisters, Debbie Currell and Linda Skidmore; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be November 1, from 5-8 at Newcomer Funeral Home, (10304 Dixie Highway). Funeral services will be at 12:00 at Newcomer Funeral Home. Interment will be at Buck Grove Cemetery, 255 Buck Grove Church Road, Ekron, KY.
