Charles "C.K.", "Moocho", "Ken" Bailey, 69, of New Albany passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011. C.K. retired from B.F. Goodrich Corporation and enjoyed the friendship of many. An avid motorcyclist, he was a member of the Golden Hawks Motorcycle Club and 100 Pipers Social Club. A talented musician, he traveled all around the area with his beloved music. At home, he tinkered in the garden, and his family and friends always benefited from his love of cooking.
C.K. was born on April 26, 1942 in Russellville, Kentucky to the late Johnny and Cecil Mae (Young) Bailey. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anna Mae (Crane) Bailey; children, Kenneth L., Katrina L. "Ryssk", and Kindra L. Bailey, all of New Albany; grandchildren, Jonathan C. and Shemar T. Bailey, and good friend, Brandy K. Rowe.
His visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Friday, September 30, 2011 and Saturday, 11 AM to 1 PM at Howard Chapel Baptist Church (1715 East Market Street, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 1 PM on Saturday at the church followed by burial in West Haven Cemetery in New Albany. Newcomer Funeral Home in New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.
