Charles Edward Turner

February 1, 1961 — May 3, 2022

Charles "Chuck" Edward Turner went home to Jesus on May 3, 2022 at the age of 61.
Chuck was born to Charlie Darce Turner and Mary Ann (Becker) Turner on Februay 1, 1961 in Lincoln Park, Michigan.

Growing up in Michigan, Chuck enjoyed football, bowling, golf, and the snow.
Chuck graduated in 1979 from Henry Ford High School in Sterling Heights, Michigan; He then enlisted and served in the US Navy from 1980-1986. He traveled the world as an electrician on the USS Talbot; he also trained for service aboard a nuclear submarine.

After discharge from the Navy, Chuck moved to Louisville, KY to attend and graduate from the University of Louisville in 1990 with a BS in Accounting. He received a master's degree in accounting in 2002 from Webster University. He earned the designations of CMA-Certified Managerial Accountant and CPM-Certified Power Marketer during his business career. He was employed with KY Blue Cross and Blue Shield/Anthem and later LG&E/KU Energy, from where he retired in 2007.
Chuck met his wife, Lisa Ann (Lawson) Turner in 1992 when both worked at Anthem. They married March 1993 and have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Rebecca Lynn Turner, and Sarah Nicole Turner.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving husband, Chuck was a great 'girl dad'; always ready to help and participate in homeschool activities, girl scout events, dance recitals and volleyball games.

Throughout Chuck's entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God and relationship with Jesus. He had a servant's heart for his Northeast Christian Church family, serving many years on the Ushering and Communion teams.

Chuck joins his parents, Charlie & Mary Ann and his two older brothers, Terry Hoskins and Larry Hoskins in Heaven. He is survived by his wife Lisa; daughters, Rebecca and Sarah; younger brother, David Turner (Allison) and nephew Tyler; cousin, Debbie Roberts (Pee Wee); and many more cousins, nephews and nieces.
