Charles "Charlie" Alvin Linebach

Charles A. "Charlie" Linebach, age 93 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025 with his loving family by his side.

Charlie was a Veteran of the Korean War and a long-time member of the Middletown VFW. He was also a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Having been raised in St. Matthews, Kentucky he worked at his family’s business, Linebach Shoe Repair, and later spent many years in the transportation business. He attended the old Holy Trinity Grade School and graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1949.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph Linebach, Sr. and Angie Walker Linebach; brother, Rudolph Linebach, Jr.; and grandson, Logan Turner Dailey. 

Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Martha Linebach; children, Debbie Noland (Steve), Doug Linebach (Kellye), Julie Dailey (Mike) and Tom Linebach (Julie); nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 9am to 10am on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at St Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40222 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
