Charles Wayne Hicks, Sr.

Charles "Charlie" Wayne Hicks Sr., 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023. He was retired from GE.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Hicks; his son, Lawrence "Fred" Edward Hicks; his parents, James Edward and Virginia Catherine Hicks; and 3 sisters.
Charlie is survived by his sons, Charles Wayne Hicks Jr.(Sherie), Anthony David Hicks(Brandie), and Sean Douglas Hicks(Brittany); daughter-in-law (wife of Lawrence), Sandy Hicks; grandchildren, Amanda, Kelsey, Sarah, Jessica, Trevor, Courtney, Chase, Jordan, Jacob, Nathan, Nevaeh, BJ, SJ, and Josie; 4 great grandchildren; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 6, 2023 and from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
