Charles Bruce
February 12, 1926 — January 3, 2012
Charles Arnold Bruce, 86 of Lexington KY, passed away Tuesday, January 3rd at St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Care Center in Lexington.
He was an active resident of Pine Meadows Healthcare. A native of Corbin KY. Charles was the son of William Arnold Bruce and Anna Clara (McAfee) Bruce. He had a lifelong love of music and storytelling. Over the years, he worked for Taylor Tire Company, and Fayette Co. School System. In the later stages of his life, Charles was a member of the Pine Meadows Health Care Resident Choir, from which he received much joy and fellowship. He will be missed by his many friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma J. Bruce, and his brother Everett L. Bruce.
He is survived by his son "Josh" Burdette Bruce of Columbus OH, his brother William E. Bruce of Louisville KY, and Boca Raton Fla. and a niece, Betty Mater of Georgetown IN.
Cremation was chosen. Charles will be remembered by his family, in a private interment service at Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville KY.
