Charles Edward Brooks, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
He was born on September 26, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charles E. Brooks and Mable Gilliam. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Boby M. Brooks, Sr.
Eddie is survived by his nephews, Bob Brooks (Leigh), Rocky Brooks (Debbie) sister-in-law, May Brooks, great-niece, Sarah-May Brooks and great-nephews, Benjamin Brooks and Dylan Brooks.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Peggy Newman and Shari Polur for their hard work ensuring he was safe and cared for in his last years.
He will be laid to rest at Floydsburg Cemetery (5600 Old Floydsburg Road, Crestwood, KY 40014).
