Charles Henry Alvey, 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. Charles was a member of Vision Valley Baptist Church for many years and he went to Freedom Adult Day Center.
He was born on September 28, 1935 in Belmont, Kentucky to Frank and Inez (Edthonon) Alvey. He is preceded in death by his Father, Frank Alvey, Mother, Inez Alvey, Son, Darryl Alvey, Daughter, Robin Alvey, Step-Daughter, Lisa Alvey
Charles is survived by his loving family, Son, Robert (Sandye) Alvey; 11 Grandchildren; Caregiver, Belinda Harshfield, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
