Charles Lee Allen Sr.

Charles Lee Allen Sr., 86, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Charles was a loving husband and a great dad. He always loved horse racing and BINGO. Charles will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who knew him.

He was born on January 28, 1938 in Leitchfield, Kentucky to Shelby and Lucille (Unknown) Allen. He is preceded in death by his Father, Shelby Allen, Mother, Lucille Allen, and Son, William "Billy" Allen.

Charles is survived by his loving Wife of 61 years, Eunice Lavone Allen; Daughter, Brenda (Don) Short; Grandchildren, Joey Allen, Kayla Allen, and Tiffany Borden; Many Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Larry Allen, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Charles’s memory be made to American Heart Association.
