Charlene Mozee Taylor, 66, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

She was born on July 2, 1957 in New Albany, Indiana to the late William Mozee, Sr. and Mary Walker Mozee. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Michael Mozee; sister, Ella Moss; and brother, William Clifton Mozee, Jr.

Charlene is survived by her husband, Kenneth Taylor; sons, LeWann, Terry, Sheron, Evon, Keith, Marva, Kenneth Jr., Kenny, Lamont, and Jabrelle; siblings, Patricia, Jacqueline (Gregory), Thomas (Carol), Tywanna, Janice, and Donna; as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends to cherish her memories.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at Jones Memorial AME Zion Church (258 Ealy St, New Albany) with burial to follow at West Haven Cemetery.
