Charleen Lucille Hunter, 76, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
She was born on May 25, 1947, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Marx McPheeters and Joyce (Grant) McPheeters. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hunter; daughter, Serita Mayon Hunter; and stepsister, Claudia Brown.
Charleen is survived by her children, Robert (Wanda) McMickin, Car Lee (Damon) Blissett, and Michael McMickin; brothers, Marx (Vera) McPheeters and William (Tammy) McPheeters; stepsister, Nadine Collier; stepbrother, William "Derek" McPheeters; grandchildren, Amber Seay, Mykeshia (Rodney) Childers, Sakarra McMickin, and Damon Blissett, Jr.; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Newburg Apostolic Church (4817 E. Indian Trail, Louisville, KY 40218). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church with burial to follow at West Haven Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
