Chad Vincent Raisor, age 45, went into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. Chad was born on August 24, 1978, in Louisville, KY to William Raisor and Ruth (Raisor) Bridges. He attended Indian Trial Elementary, Hartstern Elementary, Thomas Jefferson Middle School, and Fern Creek High School. Chad was an honor roll student and earned a letter at Thomas Jefferson Middle School for his grades. He played baseball with the Camp Taylor Little League for several years and was part of a winning team. Chad was athletic and he also played basketball at Thomas Jefferson Middle School and for Highview. He was a mischievous, fun-loving child and that carried on throughout his life here on this earth. Chad loved his tennis shoes and had many pairs. He was a diehard Louisville Cardinal fan and loved the Chicago Bears Football team. He worked as a cook for Garretts for many years and other restaurants. Chad also worked for moving companies. He felt he could get a good work out that way. His great niece Willow was a joy to his life, and he loved her dearly. Chad would lay on the floor with her to play with her and give Sydney a break. Chad was baptized several years ago, believed in his Savior Jesus, and was attending the Believers Church on Smyrna Parkway. He loved to listen to Pastor Randy preach and teach. Chad and his mother had many discussions about God.
Chad is preceded in death by his grandparents, Patrick Bogard and Roberta Foote Bogard, Jerry and Mary Martin; his aunts, Amy Bogard and Patricia Sand; his cousins, Sarah Babbit and Bre Terry; and his great grandmother, Vivian Foote.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Ruth Bridges and stepfather, Kenneth Bridges Jr.; his father, William Raisor and stepmother, Helen Raisor; sister, Ashlie Raisor; aunts, Becky Zink, Margaret Wilson, and Karen May (Jerry); his nephews, William and Preston Mitchell; niece, Sydney Mitchell; great niece, Willow Montgomery; cousins, Julie, Terry, Amber and Frank Hudson, Terra Wilson, Talena Kuprion, Kristi Arnold; his uncle, Jimmy Terry; and so many other loving family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will be at 12pm with a celebration of Chad's life at 1pm on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at The Believers Church 7905 Smyrna Pkwy Louisville, KY 40228.
